What happens when you clean up your cutting table????  I found these lovely 12 1/2″ blocks under a pile of fabrics?????  There are 28 of them and they are nearly 100 years old???

I bought  these little blocks on EBay from the USA about 20 years ago.  They had been unpicked and washed but not ironed and they are still as I received them.  I did not do any thing with them as I felt the cotton that was used back then on machines for quilting would put far to much stress on the fabrics.  Now we have bottom line and fine needles I’m going to give it ago.

ironed and looking pretty firm and crisp fabric is not as fragile as I first thought.

There ahs been a 1" shrinkage in this block, from all most a 12 1/2" block I have a square 11 1/2" block. A lot of shrinkage but it is all 1/4 quilted.
