Indi’s wall art.
I have just spent a wonderful 2 days staying with my Grandies and their parents. My granddaughter 7 and I played with fabrics most of the time.
Indi cut all the pieces out and made funky roof shapes .
I took a pile of very colourful 1990 fabrics with me a a beige piece of fabric 30inchs by18inchs I drew a sketch of some funky houses the shape of a Dresden blade with fun shaped roofs and she caught on very quickly,
She Placed all the pieces of fabric,
For the first 3 hrs I ironed on irononfussing to about 30 different fabrics, told her she needed to build the big houses first then the middle size ones and final the small ones with out helping her at all choose fabrics she just knew what she wanted,
She could just visual how they would come out?
and she cut out her fat and skinny tall house and gave them all funky roofs , window, and doors.
Adding windows, doors and funky chimneys?
Then she added the middle size houses, then she ended up with a wonderful fabric wall art.
I was just in awe of what she had made aged 7
IM still finding it hard to believe she did it All here self except the last 5 small houses as we were running out of time and I helped. It was finally glued on a piece of timber and is on her bedroom wall.
