Vase 4 of LE still plodding along on it. 18th Nov 2015

Morning every one,  weather is changing down here or up here depending on where you live,  they are looking at a cyclone that may be forming off the coast it’s early but officially cyclone weather is from Nov till April.   We have jumped in to very hot weather but hopefully next week it will be back to normal weather for now.  Thank goodness for the swimming pool.

I have been given an early Xmas present by my DH  as all my cameras went on the blink this year and I have been using my phone to take photos the last 4 months.

Still testing the camera

Still testing the camera, managed to appliqué all the cherries on the left hand side this week need to appliqué the base of the vase but also need to change the circle at the base as not enough contrast there, also need to do the stems on the cherries.

Very cloudy and over caste so not a good light for photos

As I’m sitting here the sun has come out but not for long so I will just use these photos this week.  I made another 18 little brown circles up last night so hopefully they will be all sewn on by next week.

If you look closely you can see I have had to add more fabric around the edge of my square of back ground fabric,  it shrank soooo much but I had to use it as I had no extra fabric to make another from the Kimono yardage I’m using.  But it does not worry me as it is not called called patchwork for nothing.

Adding the tiny circles, I need to add the last 6 on the other 4 ovals too. I never did get to finish those ones about 18 months ago?????

I like the colonial knots in the centers of the flowers.

Love Entwined is looking so good!! such progress. Just as you start jumping into hot weather we are jumping into cold. The last two days we have had plenty of rain and the yard is saturated and it was near 70 for a high first thing this morning and then the temps dropped all day – by the weekend we will be having a freeze at night and in the 50’s only daytime – what mid November should be here. I have been busy with many quilts but have not felt like working on Love Entwined – maybe one day I will get back to it. Love all the flowers you show

WOW, WOW, WOW! Your shots really show your magnificent detail on your LE – it really is looking fabulous and I’m in awe of your perfect tiny circles! Great job!
I laughed about the bush turkey helping with your gardening – I hope that he does use all those extra leaves for you!
Thanks for sharing all those fabulous plant shots too – looking great.

Hi Plum, would you believe the old Turkey has moved in to my neighbours place this week???? they have gone away for two weeks and I’m baby sitting their Australian Bull dog, she is adorable looks scary but is so so sweet and loves cuddles. Turkey has decided to make a nest beside their small car, Jersey (dog) and I have been trying to chases him away but he just keeps coming back, I have decided to leave him now incase he decided to make his nest in their veranda, their nests are usually around 3metres across and 2 metres high!!!!!! LOL Plum I love those wee Xmas tree decorations you have made for the tree, so quick and easy but oh so cute. Cheers Glenda

Dear Sylvia so lovely to see your name here again; thanks for dropping in to visit my home and garden which looks nice this time of the year before the monsoon arrives and every thing disappears in to slush, leeches, mosquitos and water LOL. I have been in to visit your blog the last couple of weeks and those blocks for your Gardens of a King are incredible what patience you must have working with such small pieces of fabric. I’m making a DJ but these blocks you are working on look much more complicated. Lovely lovely fabrics you are using too. Cheers Glenda

Cheers Glenda
