WOW 18th Sept 2013 with Esther http://www.estheraliu.blogspot.com/

I’m off to the beach with DGS 4 years old for breakfast then I will be playing with my LE this after noon.

My LE keeps wanting to change things??????  I have made about 6 or 7 vases and it is still not happy!!!!! here are some of them!!!!!

Number 1

Number 2

Number 3

Number 4

Number 5

Number 6 May be????? I was playing with this at 12.30am this morning when I should of been sleeping????????

Just back from the beach it was picture perfect, I sat and basted some of my little zig zag pieces while DGS played in the sand and water,  neither of us wanted to leave it was so lovely, we were away for 4 hrs, now to finish my blog the curl up and make some more zig zags While DGS has a nap life is tough!!!!,  I’m glad I’m short sighted and can not see the dust that needs vacuuming LOL.

My sewing room since I started LE every thing else is on hold and my room is a mess.

Thank goodness i have tables all a long the front terrace so I can find a spot to work on my Part 4 pattern of LE when my sewing room tables are full LOL.

Just been out side and taken some photo’s of the orchids flower at present.

Vanda's in their full glory.

Miniature cymbidiums.

Dancing moth orchids in the breeze.

Oh that sounds so familiar! I really like the paisley vase but that could be because i just love paisley. But it does hold all the colours you have used in your LE so far. Good luck choosing!

  2. Jackie says:

    I like number 4.

Hi Jackie and Kathinca I also love number 4 it is in silk and the light shifts from light to dark, I loved the colours as it looks like all the colours I have used so far but I was scared it was to dark and dominates the corner. SO I’m glad you both like it. It will be interesting to see what I finally choose LOL> Cheers Glenda

Hi Glenda, WOW, you live in a wonderful place of the world! Such beautiful flowers!!
And what a great terrace. Love the view!
I also love vase number 4! It just seems perfect for that corner!

So pretty, but I understand the difficulty selecting fabrics. Something about LE keeps punching til just the right fabric is found. After selecting all the fabrics for my broderie perse bouquet I went back and changed one of the fabrics used in part 3. Good luck making your choice.

I have Monday and Tuesday our 8 month old granddaughter she is a swift lady crawls very quickly so grandma racest out after her and she is standing already in the box, 8 months old!
Also she hardly sleeps during the day can you imagine how I am at the end of the day???, LOL! She was a little bit ill wet nose and cough … not surprising because the temperatures are here in a week dropped from 27 to 17 degrees Celsius ….
Therefore I have time to think about … what kind of fabric I’m going to take for the vases! Yes I make all the vases the same and make it easy for myself not follow the pattern because I’m make the flowers brodery perse, I’ll hope a have enough in stock I have to fill the four vases with flowers.
Wonderful to see you working with all the stuff around you … we say often “my house was clean yesterday, sorry you missed it” LOL.
See your orchids gently swaying in the breeze wish I was with you with a cup of tea … or you with me here.
Autumn is coming over here I have a box of pumpkins you can see them at my other home blog http://www.bij-marijke-thuis.blogspot.nl
there you can see a little bit of our house inside…
Nice to have visit your blog again it is if a was been with you!
    Kind regards from Marijke

Gosh Glenda — I can see why you’re having a hard time choosing — they are all so beautiful! I looked at each of them, and although I’m partial to paisley, I like the color values of number 6. Really though — they are all very pretty. Can’t wait to see what you decide !

    Hugs, Karen on Keuka

  7. Jenny says:

All such beautiful vases and I know the quandary of choosing which is just right.
I personally love the fabric in number 4 BUT will it overpower your next narrow border,
Number 6 may just be the answer and you are introducing a new color as well.
    Good luck deciding, Cheer’s Jenny
