16th Sept 2013 Making my 1st vase and stems on Love Entwined

First I printed several patterns of Part 4 then made one set up and rotary cut all the stem lines

Then I gently folded back the paper and lightly marked the steams with a soft coloured Japanese Karisma Fabric 0.9 lead pencil so lightly it was hard to see.

I removed the pattern and then straight away tacked the steam lines before they brushed off

Now the fun started choosing vases?????

May be flowers???? I cut a vase shape out of Press & Seal this stuck to where I placed it and showed me what the vase would look like????

what about a bird????

May be just a nice plain woven fabric

Hmmmmm?????

May be a combination of two of them??????

Hmmmmmm??????

Close up ?????

I think may be!!!!!!!

I love these colours I don't choose fabric for this quilt it does????? LOL.

well I’m off to play some more and if I’m lucky I will fine what I’m looking for. ]

Cheers Glenda
