Hi Glenda, I love your pictures, they’re great all of them. Love the purple orchid, our IT guy brought me back 3 baby orchids from Thailand almost 2 years ago, which will be blue/purple when they’ll bloom, they’re Cattleya’s, but their leaves are just over an inch long now, they’ve gotten a very good root system now going as well, and seem do be doing well in my kitchen window. They were planted in a glass container where they were sitting in a clear gel, and it took a bit to get them used to bark, he told me that it takes them a while to get off that gel, as it has the same effect on them as crack cocaine, apparently that gel compound contains lots and lots of good stuff for them, and I guess it’s what’s needed when they start them from seeds I guess.
