Made up my big blooms, I was able to do this as I have the pattern been a moderator we get the pattern early so we can make it up if we wish and this helps with any questions asked by members on the BOM group.

Made my little rose circles over washaway paper

Diamonds complete made up like English paper but used freezer paper for my foundation

Hhh

My circles is appliqued down with a pale apricot thread on the otter ring and a deep purple on the inside of the circle,   Did this to give the inner circle a sharper edge and the outer soft apricot blends into the outer part of the centre.

Getting a feeling for Part two

Wee child’s  quilt completed except for a final border and on Friday it is off to be quilted then delivered  to the new owner who is a fire victim.   I hope it makes them feel special and keeps them warm this winter.

    Dear Glenda,

Nasty critter. If you want longer days, our cat gifts us the extra hours every day. She wakes us up from 01h30am. Until somebody walks her to her food bowl. Most mornings she gets ignored until 5am. Unfortunately she does not travel well at all, otherwise I could send her to come visit you for our snowy winter’s which she does not appreciate at all…
Esther’s new pattern Hope is a beauty, saw the purple background which she showed on the Instagram. It is stunning, so is your beautiful garden.

LLLOLNot that many hrs Maggie. Hope is a quilt I’m really enjoying working on. It could be made at 75% or even 50% Pieces are not small. For some reason as soon as I saw it I saw it in very soft colours and 2 years ago I was gifted with beautiful soft neutral colours from the USA so I will use many of these on my hope. Then my favourite little fabric shop here is closing down and they are have 50% of all fabric so was able to buy 3 pieces for back ground fabric one for Hope and the other for future quilts! Its so sad to see this wee shop close. My garden is looking rather sad at the moment we have had rain for days, the trees are so thankful for it but not the wee plants. Had a growth cut out of the side of my arm it was negative but have to stay out of the garden till the stitches are taken out, so more sewing time LOL Hugs from Down Under.
