I think the weeks are getting shorter? They told me my days would be very long when I got older, how older do I have to be LOL.
last week I was working on my child’s quilt till I received Esther’s lovely pattern for Hope then every thing was put on hold?

Made up my big blooms, I was able to do this as I have the pattern been a moderator we get the pattern early so we can make it up if we wish and this helps with any questions asked by members on the BOM group.

My circles is appliqued down with a pale apricot thread on the otter ring and a deep purple on the inside of the circle, Did this to give the inner circle a sharper edge and the outer soft apricot blends into the outer part of the centre.
Getting a feeling for Part two

Finally found the aqua colour I wanted for those 4 outer leaves? Appliqued them down with a Sulky aqua thread.

My first corner ready for machine appliqueing down. Will start with the green leaves as they sit behind the blue stem.

Wee child’s quilt completed except for a final border and on Friday it is off to be quilted then delivered to the new owner who is a fire victim. I hope it makes them feel special and keeps them warm this winter.

A nasty one on my cutting table this morning, glad I did not tangle with him, that’s a nasty barb at the back of him, he was about 2 inch’s long.
Sorry All forgot about the garden photos. Just walked around it now 2pm and a scorching humid day !
