Finally we are nearly finished beautiful vase 3
I ended up making some flowers of my own for vase 3 as she would NOT grow?????? Notice I said we not I as I’m not the only one making choices here I find LE has a mind of her own!!!!!!!
Do any of you some times all of a sudden see that your work room is no longer your sewing area????? I just did this morning I need to declutter LOL
This is what I opened my eyes to this morning a perfect day, as Goldie Locks said it was not to cold or to hot just right!!!!!
There is a new animal in the garden????? rather worn so it must have had a tough life some were before arriving here????? Grandchildren have not found him yet!!!!
This is a new Paw paw tree and is still very small about 1 1/2 metres but is bearing fruit all ready. Fruit looks large but is only about 3″ long!!!!! When we lived in Tonga Island when it rained the locals would cut these Paw Paw trees and walk along using them as an umbrella LOL
New deck is been used daily and it is like having a new sitting room but outside

Gardina the perfume is heavenly.
Below is a desert rose and yes that is a white orchid behind it and straw berry plants below it

Hi Karen yes we do live in a tropical paradise. When we lived in NZ we had to grow all these plants in glass houses and they were so tiny here they are like the triffids LOL I go around or use to with a huge slasher every year slashing them back!!!!! Take care Glenda

Dear Mar thank you for your kind words on my colours, funny thong is that when I started to plan LE my thought were all around taupe colours but they just would not work for me, I even made my compass around 5 times then finally gave in and worked wight he colours LE wanted LOL. and are they a long way from what I originally planned!!!!! Many of us have found that LE dictates to them about fabric and colour LOL. Kind regards Glenda. PS I do like the colour of your cones you are about to appliqué on to your own LE

Yes LE does know what she wants and maybe that is one of the reason’s I have become stuck with mine, is my border what she wants or I want? Room here for thought I think as I do have enough background fabric ( joined) to start my border again.
I love seeing your garden and home photo’s, they bring back memories of living with the triffids as well, many do grow here in Northland but are so much smaller, especially the cycads.

Thank you Jenny for the encouragement I sure needed it working on vase 3. I now need to spend several hrs doing the colonial knots and cherry stems. I’m hoping that vase 4 goes as easy and as quickly as 1 and 2 went. hope your foot is getting better and that you can now walk on it. Not much good for using the sewing machine thats for sure. You will get back to your LE when the time is right. I don’t have enough fabric for my final border so not looking forward to solving that problem. Hugs Glenda
