Found Mumma Golly last week amongst some quilts!!!!!! I will make her in to a wee pillow case with straps so Lucie can carry her quilt home inside it on the plane.  I again have spent time searching for the designer of these sweet Gollies and I think it may be  Lynn Hyland.  Ive seen her quilt top finished and shown in many places but not once has she been given credit which is very sad.  I think I bought the pattern around 2017?????

DGD brought this wee dress up to be mended on my sewing machine but have decided to let her do it her self next Friday that way she will learn to mend her own clothes.

This quilt top is very striking and deserves to be made in to a quilt and raffled to help a charity in need.  But I just honestly don’t have the time.  I hope I find a quilting group who will finish it and pass it on to some one in need.

An extremmely hardy

An extremely hardy plant has survived all the dry and wet seasons we have been through. stunning leaves and very few insects will eat the leaves.  Great cut flower leaf.

so very many pretty plants – I’m wondering if they take a lot of work or just grow by themselves!

    • glenda says:

They take a lot of work to keep them and to allow them to grow Karen as the undergrowth if we did not chop back weekly would smooth them and us LOL. So all though it looks like a low maintance garden it takes a couple of hrs every day to stop it from turning back in to jungle. Some days this time of the year I’m in the garden an average of 6 hrs to get it ready for the next wet season. Cheers Glenda.
