My day started out with this lovely morning. Rained all night but no flood water in the unit this time. So hopefully the problem was solved with Hubby and DGS putting in a new drainage at the back of unit.
From ironing some vintage hankies an idea for a quilt evolved. If you want to see how I made these wee blocks up below check out my earlier blog.
First 4 blocks of 15 vintage linen hankies and dresden plates. These blocks are ending up 12inchs square and Im making them up in QAYG blocks they are delightful to do.
3rd of Jan I added the bottom panel to Sara’s quilt so now I have a quilt top???? this is my 1st challenge in 17Ufosin2017 with Meredith
After 17 days I have almost completed Sara’s quilt. only the top,sides and bottom to sahiko quilt all the machine quilting in the ditch is completed, Im feeling good about this one.
Also sahiko quilting this at present nearly finished. This was just before I started quilting it.
A perfect ball of red star flower?????

Both on my door step this morning dead?
Busy day ahead as Im baby sitting for the next 6 hrs. So off now to join up with Esther Aliu WOW or WIPs Esther has just released a lovely new BOM called Diamond Hill.
