Cosmos block from Esther Aliu's 2012 mystery BOM

Working on stitching down my flowers to day on my Cosmos block.  I’m blanket stitching around the flowers I have several appointments today in the city where I will be waiting in waiting rooms for several hours so will get a lot done!!!!!.  To check out the other BEAUTIFUL block released by Esther this month go to

Well I did not get one stitch done as I left it at home?????? But did manage to get several hexagons made for my mini bag I’m making.

I have put back up my passion wall quilt today, I cleaned and put it away over Xmas and finally found time to day to put it back?????

I found this hand quilted door hanging last week and have just hung it today, it is silk and comes from Cambodia.

So you can see today has been about house cleaning mostly but from 8pm till now 11.30pm it has been sewing hexies!!!!!

It has finally stopped raining and I can see the sun for the first time in weeks, but we are very wet and bedraggled??????
